Powerful Emotions

What's Happening:

The boys talk about all the emotions and how knowing how we feel inside can help us be powerful in life. We talk about how even though our feelings are often really strong, we still have to put our emotions into words so that other people can connect with us. And for some of us, being more monkey-like with letting our emotions show can be a good thing! They play games with emojis and charades and put on an ‘outdoor theater’ using emotions and have fun playing in the water. Our hike theme animal that helps us connect with the topic is: the monkey.

Bring/Wear:

• Bring water and a lunch.

• Wear good hiking shoes.

• Wear swim shorts and bring a towel.

• We recommend you put on sunblock prior to the session.
