TENTS:  We provide the tents. There will be absolutely no sleeping bag sharing, even among siblings. It goes without saying that Delfina & David will have a tent of their own, separate from the boys. We will all be on the same campsite near each other. There will be no other campers besides the DG group at this time.

GEARWe will bring games & outdoor equipment for the boys to use in the lake and creek.

Bring a snack to share!

Safety, Rules & Expectations

There will be absolutely no tolerance of violent behavior, sexual misconduct, bullying, or anything of this sort. We will do everything in our power to create a safe & fun environment for all participants. We will make expectations and rules clear from the beginning and non-cooperation will result in the participant getting picked up by their parents.

Safety Rules:

• Participants will take turns changing clothes in the tents to avoid nudity. Even with siblings, we ask for body privacy & safety.

• No public outdoor bathroom use. We will use the bathroom on site, and if on a hike, we will all walk very much ahead while the person uses the bathroom privately in a secluded area.

• No sharing sleeping bags under any circumstance.

• No foul talk or body talk. Bad words or lewd comments about body functions will not be tolerated.

Prevention Measures:

• There will be a tent-captain in each tent who will be assigned the responsibility to speak with David or Delfina while on site if any inappropriate behavior is happening in the tent.

• Body safety talks will happen with parents present in the parking lot before we head out, and reiterated as tents are built on the first day.

Camping Rules:

• We will leave the campsite the way we found it. That means that any structures or forts we built will have to be put back at the end of the trip.

• Thankfulness and helpfulness go a long way on this trip. We will give awards for helpfulness!

• David and Delfina's tent space is off limits to free play. Every other square inch of our campsite and nature is the boys' to explore and play in.

• We minimize trash by using reusable plates and utensils. We ask that each kid bring a water bottle to refill as we will not be handing out plastic water bottles or cups.
